Froyo Fruit Cups Recipe

What is your first association for the summer?

We bet many will say ice cream, and we definitely have to agree with that statement, but this time we will suggest something as sweet, but much easier, as an alternative to the ice cream. Frozen yogurt or Froyo is another benefit of summer and a good ice cream substitute for those who are careful about calorie intake. Despite many industrial versions, frozen yogurt can be easily made at home. You can use regular or Greek yogurt.

Here are some recipes that you might like :

1) A delicious froyo with banana and wild fruit


300 g of liquid yogurt

1 larger, ripe banana

2 tablespoons of honey

2 tablespoons sugar


fresh or frozen fruit


Crush the banana with a fork and mix with yogurt, sugar, and honey. Put muffin baskets in a muffin mold and place 1 teaspoon of oatmeal at the bottom of each basket (you can use any other cereal you like instead of oatmeal).

Spread the yogurt mixture evenly over all the baskets and place the fruit you like – kiwi, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries on top.

Put the dessert mold in the freezer and let it cool for at least two hours. When the yogurt is icing, remove the muffin baskets and serve yourself a delicious iced dessert. Leave baskets at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before serving to thaw slightly.

2) Coffee froyo

If you enjoy coffee, this is the right way to combine the two things you love the most. Coffee ice cream is easy to make and has its own healthy variations depending on how sweet you want it to be, and you can use brown sugar or stevia powder.

This ice cream combines the great taste of coffee and the creamy rich taste of any ice cream.


soy milk cream or yogurt (Greek if it is possible)

a glass of soy milk

1.5 cups of instant coffee

1/4 cup brown sugar

half a teaspoon of vanilla extract if you have used neutral soy milk


To make sure how sweet it is, digest the mixture as you make it. The same goes for the amount of coffee you add, depending on how strong you want it to be. First, pour the soy cream or yogurt into a larger bowl, add the coffee and stir until the coffee is dissolved. Add the other ingredients and also whisk well until the sugar is melted and the mass is dense.

Then transfer to a cups or molds where you will leave them to ice.

When you want to consume it, leave it for 5 minutes at room temperature, then serve.

Tips for the start: In addition to the blender, it would be advisable to have a homemade mixer to make the yogurt as creamy as possible.
